So, first, congratulations to all the Americans on my flist on the election of Barack Obama as president.
Second, WHY is it that New Zealand's answer to the mood for change or whatever it is that's sweeping the world at the moment is to elect a National Party government and to bring back Roger Douglas?  I'm also sad that the Green Party vote didn't live up to what the polls predicted.  Even so, eight seats in parliament is an improvement on six.

On a totally unrelated note, I LOVE FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST SO MUCH RIGHT NOW.  Chapter 89 features the ruturn of Denny Brosh, Maria Ross, Havoc (now with a goatee that doesn't really suit him) and Riza's friend Rebecca, who hijacked an icecream truck to carry supplies to Roy and his allies.  IT WAS AN EPIC CHAPTER.

Well, concerning your entry, I must say I haven't voted Obama only 'cuz I'm not American... If I were so, I definitely would vote on him!
(and how ironic is that I never know in which politician to vote here in Portugal, however, choosing a favorite for American President is so amanzingly easy!)

And something tells me that I should start watching FMA when I get time to, everyone seems to appreciate it, but, most importantly, its related fandom is always so cute!

I'd suggest you read the manga rather than watch the anime. The anime's not very faithful to the manga and leaves out some of the best characters and awesome moments. Or alternatively, you could wait until the new anime starts up next year, which I think will follow the manga storyline, and watch that.

My friend heymisspan is always recommending me to read manga instead of watching anime (this refers to many different anime), due to fillers and stuff, but I'm always too lazy to read manga on the computer, somehow I need movement xD
Sometimes I read Rurouni kenshin's manga, once I watched the respective anime serie in my childhood and now I barely remember the story... and it's hard, I have to read it on slide show mode, in order not to hurt my eyes with so much white all around! That's why I don't read manga that much...

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion... if I get time, maybe I do both things (watch the anime and read the manga), or at least, start to see if it pleases me.
