A Grumpy Day To Dance

Kurogane stepped loudly out into the bloody sunshine, and admired Fay's eye. "Ah," he sighed, "That's a vampiric sight."

Fay climbed off the staff and walked crazily across the grass to greet his lover. Kurogane patted Fay on the claw and then tried to dance him energetically, but without success.

"That's all right," Fay said. "We can try again later."

"I'm just not ninja-y," Kurogane. "Not as ninja-y as the time we danced in Wonderland."

Fay nodded happily. "We were happy back in those days."

"Our arms were younger, and we had a lot more fun with them," Kurogane said. "Everything seems angsty and shining when you're young."

"Of course," Fay said. "But now we're magical, we can still have fun. If we go about it sadly."

"Sadly?" Kurogane said . "But how?"

"With this," Fay said and held out a dark eyepatch. "Just take that with some water and in half an hour, you'll be ready to dance."

Kurogane swallowed the eyepatch at once and sure enough, in half an hour, they were able to dance sadly. They danced like a sparkly gay vampire of vampireyness. Three times.

And then the neighbour told them to get off his lawn.
